We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inventory Analyst to manage our Spare Parts portfolio. This is a full time permanent position located in Braeside.

What does the role involve?

  • Manage and coordinate the national inventory planning activities of the spare parts portfolio
  • Create and manage Master Data related to products and suppliers
  • Conduct analytical forecasting activities, including variable sales, product trends etc
  • Report on portfolio performance, variance forecasts and inventory stock targets
  • Manage inventory, slow moving stock, quarantined items and obsolete stock
  • Purchase spare parts from internal & external suppliers ensuring inventory replenishment to the warehouse is at appropriate stock levels
  • Prepare shipping plans and forward purchase orders
  • Maintain accurate and up to date product and supplier data
  • Provide assistance and support to key stakeholders as required
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders including Sales, Marketing and Warehouse

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in an Inventory Analyst role where you have been responsible for the planning, forecasting and purchasing
  • Strong organisational skills managing multiple and diverse tasks
  • The ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with key stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sound knowledge and experience of international shipping and inventory management
  • A highly analytical mindset with a result oriented focus
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and MRP systems
  • Qualifications in Supply Chain/Logistics and/or business related discipline preferred
