Financial Planning Analyst
We're looking for a detail‑driven Financial Planning Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This role plays a key part in shaping business performance by delivering high‑quality financial insights, supporting strategic decision‑making, and driving continuous improvement across budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
You'll work closely with senior leaders across the organisation, providing analysis that helps guide investment decisions, optimise costs, and strengthen financial outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing, maintaining, and improving financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
- Preparing monthly management reports, including variance analysis and performance commentary
- Partnering with business units to understand drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Supporting annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles
- Analysing financial trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Fixed Assets management
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Treasury, cash flow and FX reporting
- Assisting with long‑range planning and strategic financial initiatives
- Improving reporting processes and contributing to automation and efficiency projects
- Conducting ad‑hoc financial analyses to support business cases and investment decisions
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial modelling
- Experience with ERP or BI tools (e.g., Oracle, Power BI, IBM Planning Analytics) is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into insights
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
