The Company

This is an exciting opportunity to work at a state of the art facility in a rapidly growing manufacturing company. Rinnai is a market leader in supplying advanced heating and cooling, hot water and lifestyle products into the Australian domestic and commercial domain, located in the south eastern suburbs (Braeside).

The Position

We are looking to appoint a talented Laboratory Technician reporting directly to the Laboratory Manager. The role is pivotal in maintaining the laboratory to AS/NZS 17025 and ISO 9001 standards and testing systems in according to the relevant test standards, engineering procedures and continue/extend the NATA accreditation.

You will also be responsible for:

• Maintaining a tidy and organised work environment which complies with relevant safety regulations
• Ensuring requirements for handling and storage of test items, materials and equipment are complied with in the laboratory.
• Maintaining PD laboratory consumables and restocking tool as required.
• Ensuring requirements for handling and storage of materials comply with safety standards.

You have:

• Trade qualification in a related field or an engineering qualification at Diploma level
• Laboratory testing experience in a technical role preferred but not essential
• The ability to communicate engineering issues clearly
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
